I would like to eliminate anything unnecessary in my XnView folder to
reduce it's size.

I can't find anything on use of the Skins folder in the help file.
In the Skins folder are various skins, I want to reduce them.

I use the default skin (standard windows format) in XnView. What is the
default skin, and can I delete the rest of them?

The default skin is stored inside XnView, just close it, move (or
delete) the 'skins' directory and start XnView again.
