Xerox 230/340 DC and network shared drivers

Hi!

I have two printers - a Xerox 230 DocuCenter and a Xerox 340 DocuCenter -
and a network with 65 users/computers all using Win2K or WinXP. Some
homeoffice installations also uses the printers via a Citrix installation.
The servers (6 in all) are placed on 3 locations and are all using Win2K
SP3.

Instead of installing the printer drivers directly on each computer Iīve
used the Windows facility to install the driver on the printserver and the
via the logon script connect to the printer and thereby install the driver
(and update it if nessesary).

I have problems with the part of the driver (printer specific parameters)
such as enabling banner pages, output bin and installed papertrays. The
first time the printer is connected on a total new installed client (both
Win2K and WinXP) the settings from the default options settings on the
printer server is kopied to the client and I can control it from the server
but after changing printserver the parameters isnīt "cleared" (or followed)
according to the new printserver setting. If I clear the client from the
print driver (accually deleting all the files, regDB entries and oem files)
I can connect to the server and get the right result. But itīs really a pain
in the ass... Thatīs the hole reason for NOT installing each driver directly
on each client.

Can anyone help me, please ??

Greetings
