Based on a quick web search, these appear to be part of something called
WinTools, which, apparently, some number of people would like to know how to
remove. I commend you to also search the web. The two pieces of advice I
gleaned were first to see if you can remove WinTools in the "Add / Remove
Programs" applet in Control Panel. Second, try to remove it by other means.
Those include using a spyware removal tool, of which there are a few. Also,
anti-virus vendors are beginning to provide removal tools, so check with
your anti-virus vendor. If "Add / Remove Programs" does not work for you,
and you are unsure how to proceed with this second choice, post a reply with
an update and a request for specifics.

See "How to Protect Your Computer from Spyware and Adware" at
http://www.microsoft.com/WindowsXP/e...tt/spyware.asp.
While this article is in an XP area, the basics still apply, and the article
has links to several other worthwhile resources, such as spyware removal
tools. Then there's "Dealing with Unwanted Spyware and Parasites" at
<<http://www.mvps.org/winhelp2002/unwanted.htm>>

Let us know how you make out with this.
