Just had upgrade and installer put in wrong name at
System info. I went to Regedit and found this wrong name
and then installed my name--this corrected---right user
name in System info, but when i write new file, in
msword/excel,properties still shows, wrong original name
in Route.
ie f:/documents & settings\wrong name.

Have looked at further files in Regedit,can`t see any
more original wrong name
How can I correct this without Reinstalling xp Home

This varies from one version of Word to another. Some will pick it up from
the machine registration (older versions). Others, the info is entered when
you install Word or picked up from the registry for the current user. For a
"how to" on how to change this, check the MS Knowledge Base for your
version of Word -or- post a question in one of the MS Word newsgroups:
