OK, here's my setup.
Mixed Domain - NT4 (DCs) and 2k Servers (Members)
2k-Pro/XP-Pro Workations that are not Domain Members, but have local
login/PW that are the same as an account on the Domain.
Problem - The Workstations can log in to the NT4 Servers fine, they
seem to accept the workstations local account credentials
They cannot however log in to the 2k member servers unless I create a
local account on the server that matches the local account on the
workstation. How do I get these servers to match up the Domain account
with the Workstation credentials from the Workstation trying to connect
to it?
My workaround was to put a net use statement in the login script to
authenticate with a common user/PW.
