I have recently upgraded my memory, on a Gateway, but now Word still freezes
up my hard drive AND I can't access any Word documents. I have followed the
directions to open winword.exe (as a troubleshooting measure) but nothin
works. Gateway is semding me a security bundle bec. they said spyware was
installed cuaisng the proble. Until the bundle arrives, any info on how to
intsall/uninstall my MS Word? I have everything saved in My Diocumenst, so I
want to make sure that my documents are not lost.

Installing/Uninstalling rarely resolves problems and should be the last

However, make sure that you have good Anti Virus and a good Firewall
installed to keep you computer safe. Download the Microsoft Anti Spyware
from
http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/d...displaylang=en
and make sure that you keep this up to date as well as the other measures.
