I had to restore my computer. I had Word 2000 installed
and am trying to reinstall it. It asks for my 25 digit
code but it is unreadable. what are my options?

Hi Ron,

If you have a boxed retail copy of Microsoft Word or Office you can use the
phone numbers at http://microsoft.com/worldwide (800-360-7561 in the u.s.)
to get a replacement key.

If it was pre-installed on the PC when it was purchased, it's an oem copy of
the software and you will have to contact the pc supplier for a replacement.
