Hi, when I connect with my Vista Ultimate notebook to my NAS server with the
wired 10/100Mb ethernet all is fine, when I do this with the wireless
connection (intel 3945 chipset) I get no acces to the NAS server or other
local web-based servers

Everything is handled with the same wireless router with DHCP configured for
both connections.

Connecting to the internet is fine.

Suggestions ??

Wired connections don't usually have security issues to deal that wireless
ones do.

Your wireless connection to the network might require a WEP or WPA key in
order to allow you in. Without this kind of coded protection, anyone close
by with a laptop could access your network, and so files. Talk to your IT
network admistrator about getting the proper code to access the network.

I'm the administrator :-) I found out it is a problem in the Speedtouch ADSL
router, incompatible to the RC1332 standard. I contacted the manufacurer and
they will release a firmware update in the near future.
