The fix is extremely simple with XP SP2. If you aren't at
that level, you might consider using a third-party utility-

MrNick--I believe that Engel's references should fix your issue.

However, it'd be useful to know what build of Microsoft Antispyware you are
running--you can find this in Help, about.

Typical values are 1.0.501, 1.0.509, or 1.0.614. Usually they are
abbreviated to just the last three characters--.614, for example.

What's yours say?

The reason I ask is that the new build, .614, is supposed to have changes to
it so that what you are experiencing isn't as frequent an issue as it has
been in the past.
