Wireless dialup

My sister lives in an area where the only thing available is dialup.
She and her daughter each have a computer. Both machines have network
cards, but not wireless. What I would like to do is buy the hardware
for them to share the two computers and a dialup internet connection.
One machine has an old (high dollar BTW) external USR Courier modem
that connects at 33.6 if I remember right and the other has an internal
3com 56k modem. I have seen the 56k modem connect in the 40's when
they had AOL, but now that they use People Pc I have never seen it
connect above 28.8.

Anyone want to recommend the most economical way to accomplish this?
Also, any problems a setup like this causes.

If you allready have LAN on place just use ICS to share connection.
If you need more downloading speed just try one way satelite internet it
uses your d-up modem for upload and requests - and satelite for download on
high speed. Be carefull this solution dowsnot work well with realtime apps.
Some routers are capable of shaing d-up connection as well as high speed (I
know that SMC has one)
