I have setup a testing environment with a WinNT Server and a Windows 2003 Enterprise Server. TCP/IP and NetBEUI have been installed, and both servers belong to the same workground. Win2K3 can see the shared folders on WinNT, but WinNT can't see the shared folder on Win2K3. WinNT can see the machine in the Network Heighbouring. When clicks on Win2K3, a message saying 'Login Error: User access restriction' or something similar. The Win2K3 icon on WinNT however looks like there is a SUN behind the icon. The icon is so small that I could not see probably. Typing \\Win2K3 on the address bar of the Windows Explorer reports the same error message. Does anyone have any idea what problem I have? Please help

In addition, the 2 machines are connected using a crossed lan cable. NetBIOS over TCP/IP has been enabled on Win2K3. When trying to connect to Win2K3 using command line, System Error 1722 was returned

Remove Netbeui. Also, have you setup share and ntfs permissions and are
using the correct account to login to each server?

Ooh! I have found the problem. The policy insides Local Polices -> Security Options was limiting my access

The name of the policy is: Accounts: Limit local account use of blank passwords to console logon only
