I want to upgrade it to XP professional.
Can I install the XP Professional edition full version
without having to unistall the current windows version?
I don't have the upgrade version.

As long as you have an Retail copy of Windows XP Professional you may do a
upgrade or clean install. Just boot from the CD-ROM and start the install.

XP Professional Full Retail version can do upgrades. OEM version can not!

A Full version can do either an upgrade or a clean installation.

However, be sure you actually have a Full version and not an OEM
version, which many people confuse with the Full version. An OEM
version can not do an upgrade.
