WINDOWS XP HOME ALL INTERNET GAMES CHECKERS, SPADES,
BACKGAMMON, ETC NO LONGER WORK. THE GAME SERVER NEVER
RESPONDS BACK. I CAN GO TO THE ZONE AND IT WORKS FINE.

Since the problem with the Internet Games has been tied to server side issues
it's suggested to play at www.zone.com until they are able to resolve the issue.

It's a slight inconvenience but certainly an acceptable workaround.
PS: They have been alerted about this issue. An alert has been sent to them.

You do not need to sign up for a Zone account or Passport to play games
at www.zone.com - You can chose the option to play as a GUEST. :-)

Some of the Internet Game players take their games very seriously. If you're
one of them and prefer to escalate this issue, then email (E-Mail Removed)

You can also visit the Microsoft Public Zone Newsgroups located at:

Let's hope this inconvenience is settled quickly. Enjoy zone.com until then. :-)

I can't get to play any of my internet games either. Going to the Zone is no help 'cause I'm not able to get in there either. Signing is goes okay, but when I click on a room to play in, it starts to load, then gives me an error message. After trying several times, I gave up. So right now, I can't get my spades fix. Sighhhhhh!

Regarding playing Spades or other games with Windows X P, I play every night and just left there?

I am having a problem with a windows installer that pops-up, but I hit cancel and the game loads fine?

Vickie, I use Firefox, but that should not make any difference? Try to see if you have you windows up to date, maybe?
