Cannot get program to work. The "Add/Remove program has worked in the past, but has slowly "disappated" -- A few days ago, only the Headings came up with no detail (program listing) and now nothing appears. My Norton anti-virus is up-to-date. A few months ago, I upgraded to XP Pro. Today I booted the upgrade disc to search for a "repair" pforgram.

I'd appreciate any comments.

You should check for adware/malware first. Here as some programs to
use. After installing run the update on each, then go to safe mode and
do the scans. Antivirus programs don't catch adware and spyware.

If that doesn't fix your problem you can try doing a system restore
going back to a date before you had the problem. To access system
restore go to Start | All Programs | Accessories | System Tools
