So here it is, for the 5th time today (since January 30th), I had to call
Microsoft to reactivate Windows Vista. The reason was today the installation
of an update for the Intel RAID Storage System. Of course, after loosing
minutes giving my xx digits activation number, the phone system dispatched me
again to a representative. There as usual, the representative was helpful and
the activation process was successful. However, because I am quite fed up
having to reactivate the software from time to time without really
understanding why, I enquired for a supervisor, but for an unknown reason it
did not go through this time. I would really like to have a follow up on
that, and I am sure that I can probably send some informations to Microsoft
that would help them to troubleshoot that Activation Issue.

Why don't you upgrade to Linux Ubuntu? There's no activation, no WGA, no
WGA/N, no DRM restrictions, no SPP and no viruses or malware. To top it
off, Ubuntu is free and can be copied and/or installed on as many
computers as you like. Check it out at http://www.ubuntu.com/

Frankly Alias, I do not know what you are doing here spaming about ubuntu...
you should probably go to an ubuntu newsgroup and stay there, where you will
be able to learn that even what you are saying about it is not accurate.
Still the last time I have checked here, it was a forum for Windows users,
where they could expose their trouble, if you have any expertise about the
anwer to my question feel free to share it, otherwse, why do not you just
pass your way and go to play with ubuntu somewhere else?
Thank you.

Never heard of "urbutoo", sorry.

Lay off the beer, Frankie. Maybe then you'll be able to see straight.

There is no solution to your problem other than having to activate all
the time if you insist on staying with Vista. I gave you a viable
solution. Take it or leave it.

And, no, I am not going anywhere. If you don't like my posts, learn how
to filter them out or use self control and don't read them.

Many of us have asked the very same question...what is this linux loser
troll doing in this Windows ng other than being here to spread his
bullshit FUD?
Alias is a American ex-patriot (most likely a fugitive) living in spain
who can't afford Vista so he's turned into a linux loser.
Ignore him, he knows nothing of value.

Interesting that you haven't been able to point out a single FUD I have
posted and can only lie:

> Alias is a American ex-patriot (most likely a fugitive)

It's true I am an ex-pat but not a fugitive. Why do you lie? Answer:
you're out of ammo and have nothing left but lies to lamely try to
discredit my persona instead of addressing the issues.

I can afford Vista without any problem whatsoever. I can also afford a
horse. I have no need for either, although the horse would be a helluva
lot more user friendly than the invasive Vista.

> so he's turned into a linux loser.

I haven't lost a thing except WPA, WGA, WGA/N, SPP and DRM restrictions.

How come you can't ignore me, Frankie? Too much beer?

Since when did they start allowing kids to bring beer to primary school in
the U.S.A.? I know they can pack guns, but beer! <snort>

Love and Kisses,
