The player is iriver h320. Per the manual, which I had already read, no
installation of drivers is necessary for windows xp. Yes I have contacted
iriver and in 2 weeks they have yet be able to provide a solution. I should
have posted more information the 1st time. I have turned to this discusssion
group after working on this for 2 weeks without solving the problem. The
issue I belive here is why a service will not start. It just so happens that
it is a service that the iriver h320 needs to work with windows media player
10. The player works with the data port and you can drag and drop files.
Music that is DRM must be placed on the player through windows media player
10. So right now I cannot put DRM music on the mp3 player.
