I'm running XP sp/2 ..
Quite often after windows starts up,and my desktop has loaded windows
will shut down,then start up again, If I'm in the middle of a project
and it shuts down I lose every thing I've done then I have to start
over. I need help , Thanks

Hi,

Seems like you might have a virus/worm on your system which is shutting down the system. You might want to scan your
machine for viruses using a good Anti-virus program.
