Windows Mail Shortcut gone from start menu

Why would the Windows Mail shortcut leave my start menu after installing
Office 2007 on Vista 5342?

This is a bug, I reported it. In the mean time, navigate to x:\program
files\Windows Mail > create shortcut on the desktop and drag it to the Start
Menu.
