Windows 2000 Server SP4 - also running Citrix MetaFrame XP
I had a problem earlier this week that caused a Dr. Watson error, which then
created a Dr. Watson logfile that filled the hard disk to capacity. I was
able to remotely delete the file and reboot the machine, and have no clues to
the cause of the original problem or why the Dr. Watson logfile filled up the
hard drive (26gb file!).
After rebooting the machine, I no longer get a Welcome Screen / Logon
Window. This happens when I try to logon locally as well as through an RDP
connection.
The weird thing is that I AM able to logon to a full desktop using Citrix.
I've rebooted a couple other times, but am running out of ways to search for
troubleshooting ideas via TechNet and Google.
Any ideas? No other changes have been made to this server recently.
Everything else seems to be working fine, and my Citrix customers can run the
applications without knowing that there's no logon screen for an interactive
session.
Desperate and out of troubleshooting keywords,
