Hi! The icon for Windows Update has disappeared, leaving just a standard
file icon. When I try to open it (to establish the link to the Windows Update
site) I get the following code, indicating the performance of an illegal
instruction:-
CS: 06cd IP: 7f73 OP: 65 63 69 66 69.
I have searched all of the Microsoft knowledge bases etc but with no results
to show. Cany anyone suggest how I can remedy the problem that I am
encountering, please? Thanks, David

Normally, it is in the Start Menu.
Start>All Programs>Windows Update>Click on that.
