It all started with error:
Error 1719. The Windows Installer Service could not be accessed. You may be
running in safe mode or Windows Installer may not be correctly installed.
After following the steps in Article ID : 315346 I don't get the error
message anymore
but now my automatic updates fail. I get error code 0x80240022
I ran the SFC /SCANNOW and didn't get any results.(no results good or bad)
I've also downloaded the Windows installer ver 3 thinking that would fix the
problem. It did allow other programs to install, but not the critical updates
or the windows defender updates.
The registry is pointing to the correct path for msiexec.exe
Any solutions?
