I have a Windows 2000 server and the windows installer
keeps erroring out on me. I can start it but it stops
within a few seconds. and generates the following error
in Event Viewer:
"The Windows Installer Service Terminated unexpectedly.
It has done this x number of times in the past x amount
of seconds."
I did do a net start and net stop of msiserver,
reregistered it and did a net start again and got the
following error:
"A system error occurred, system error 1067, process
terminated unexpectedly.
This is hindering me from installing an updated Norton
Antivirus and another couple of installs. Any help that
can be offered would be greatly appreciated.
