Hello,
This is what happens:
When I open Windows Explorer, it expands my C: drive
automatically. I would like to know what I can so it'll
not expand when I first open WE. And I know you can do
something because I read it some time ago, but now I
can't find it.
I'm running Windows XP Home Edition.

Thanks,
JDL

Set your Explorer view the way you want it, then in Tools > Folder Options >
View > check Restore previous folder windows at logon (near the bottom).
This might do it

Try this:
Create a link to the Win-Explorer on your desktop.
Right-click the desktop icon and click on 'Properties'.
Copy the following line and put it into the first field of
your properties:

%WINDir%\explorer.exe /n,/e, /select, c:\

Thank you.
I open WE by right-clicking the Start menu and selecting
Explore, so how can I make that one to open right? It did
work when I opened it from the shortcut, but not when I
opened it from right-clicking the Start menu.

Thanks,
JDL

Thank you, but it didn't work. I kind of know what to do
now.
