Windows 2000 2003 update

Hello,

I do have some MS Windows 2000 /2003 servers to update. Since we allow
access only to some selected web sites (Microsoft.com included) I cannot
apply certain updates because my firewall blocks the server access to the
update site. I tried to run netstat during the process or to look into the
firewall but I would like to find some information about how Microsoft is
recommending to solve this. Do you know about an article on microsoft.com
about this issue?
