win98 and win2k

I have a problem sharing my data between my two computers. One runs win 98
while the other runs win 2k. The file transfer only works in one direction
: from 2k to 98. When I try to copy files from 98 to 2k, the file transfer
hangs. (But I can create directories in the 2k computer, that is to say
that the shared folder is in read & write mode)
