We have about 20 users here getting an error message when
printing to networked (Novell)HP laserjet 4000 or 4050
printers from Windows 2000. The PC's are part of a batch
of 140 rolled out together with the same hardware and
software image.
The error is "XYZ caused a General Protection fault in
module WIN87EM.DLL at xxxx:yyyy"
So far we have tried different printer drivers, disabling
the onboard sound, copying the win87em.dll as an exe file
and running on startup. none of which have worked with any
consistency
