I have a Win2K and two Win98 machines, one of which is a
laptop on a wireless card. Everything I've read says I've
connected the network properly, and I can access the
Internet on all machines, but I can't get them to
recognize each other. Can someone walk me through a
network setup process please? Thanks for your time and
patience on this one.

Make sure you have an identical username/password on all computers. Log
into the win98 with that username/password. Make sure you have shared
folders on each computer. Disable or uninstall all firewalls at least until
you get your LAN working.
