Hi All,
I have an 8 client and 1 Server network system running under Win SB Server
2003 and I have a Laser printer (KONICA Magicolor 2400W) which is not
compatible with the OS so I installed the printer drivers on one of the
client pcs and used it as the gateway (via USB) to the printer. All the other
client pcs send print files etc via this client pc to the laser.
The problem is that one or more users (while I was not there) had a problem
with some files that would not print and decided to delete the files from
each of the client pcs which has led to the laser going offline which left 25
files (greyed out) still showing on the 'settings/printers-faxes window and
are somehow stopping me from reconnecting the laser via the host pc to the
remaining client pcs. I would be very grateful if anybody out there has some
sort of explanation for this this problem? I suspect that these '25 files'
have corrupted the spooler in some way and this is stopping me from
reconnecting the laser ?
Please give me some help as I am hitting dead ends when trying to sort out
this problem.
