Which film scanner manufacturers offer API's or SDK's for their scanners?

Would like to know if Nikon or Canon or Polaroid or Microtek or other
fim (slide/negative) scanner manufacturers offer SDKs or APIs allowing
to control them from the computer (the goal is to elicit a somewhat
different behavior, e.g. scanning full uncut films instead of film
strips).

The mechanical aspects of making this work are relatively well
understood and thus manageable, but I would like to know which
scanner-making companies make the SDK or API available to 3rd parties
for free or a reasonable nominal cost not requiring me to buy like 51%
of their company to get my hands on it ;-) I know Minolta does not
make it available, though some of their film scanners would be good
for my application.

Thanks!

Alec
