It'd probably be more useful to be able to see what happens on your specific
server; have you considered setting up a staging or test directory for just
this kind of thing? A directory that's accessible but to which you publish no
links (other than to folks like those here).
Re the video, is it Mac compatible? If you have a simple HTML page with just a
link to the video file, does that work on Mac? What format is the video in?
Re the display, there've been some reports of oddness with recent Macs,
PowerPoint and displays set to very high resolution. Try resetting temporarily
to 1024x768 or a notch above that, no higher. See if that helps.
