W2K and RAS question

Hi there,
I have one RAS problem with a W2K Professional laptop. It has a 56K very
good modem and connects at good speed above 28.8. When user is dialing in
all of a sudden browsing and opening shared network documents is very slow
or it times out and gives an error, used to be faster. I noticed a lot of in
and also out(?) almost the same traffic in Dialup Properties. What could be
the cause? Thanks a lot, Calin
