running Windows 2K I'm trying to make a new network
connection, and the options, dial up to a private network
and Connect to a private network through the internet,
are both greyed out.
I tried adding network components and that didn't work.
anyone else come across this before with a Win2K machine?
Thanks

Norm

Usually that means that the two remote access connection and possibly telephony
services are not enabled/started. Look in Computer Management/services and they
should be set to at least manual start up - but not disabled. --- Steve
