I tried to install Visual Studio 2005 on Vista last night but received a
message that known problems exist and would I like to check the internet for
a solution. I let it check and it found nothing. I then cancelled the rest
of the install.

Has anyone successfully installed and used Visual Studio 2005 on Vista
without problems (other than the obvious coding problems that us programmers
have)

I've been using VS 2005 and SQL Server 2005 on Vista for a few weeks now,
and no issues. Although I'm not sure all the SQL Server features are turned
on (Notifications, SQL Reporting, etc). That's on my home machine, and I'm
not there right now to check.

I recommend downloading the VS2005 SP1 beta and applying this after the
install on Vista.
