Actually, I suspect Microsoft encourages it. If they were smart they would
let vendors boot up and ask the user which OS they want, "Will that be
Vista, XP or other".
But Microsoft enjoys it when users are not happy with Vista and re-purchase
a second OS called XP. Gives them more revenue. This isn't customer
friendly.
