I see Vista has a ton more services running compared to XP. I can find what
services are safe to disable on XP but haven't come across such a list for
Vista yet. Anyone know a good web site with such a list?

Ah, BlackViper is back. He's good but is a bit over aggressive in what he
disables so will go through it and use a bit of my own discretion. Thanks. I
like the Elder Geeks service guide for XP but they don't have one for Vista
yet.

Most of the XP service guides still apply to Vista. They've made only a
handful of changes to the services.

I see quite a lot of new services. Anyway, used the BlackViper guide for
safe mode and all is well.

Thanks Shawn, looking over it now but have already used the BV one so will
probably just stick with how it is now.
