Anyone else had probs connecting to internet after upgrading to Vista?? Took
my son, who is an MCP, 6 hours to sort it all out. Being on AOL, had to
upgrade to AOL 9.0VR too. Must say everything seems a bit slower than my
XP2000. But looks fantastic.....thinking of writing to Microsoft and AOL to
tell them to get their act together!!!

If you son is an MCP, he should know better than to use AOL ! Usually AOL
is for people who don't know how to navigate, need hand-holding, etc...
AOL, is just like Microsoft, they tell you how YOU should do things and dump
tons of advertising and software that just slows down your computer. I
could go on and on about the pitfalls of AOL, but it will just make me mad.

You are much better off without AOL. It is intrusive, resource heavy and
problematic. He's a good son to spend that time trying to sort out an issue
based on AOL.
