After searching on the net, I was about to give up since I found many
unresolved problems for fingerprint reader and I also found the following
article on MS site:
You cannot use a fingerprint reader or another biometric device to log on
after you upgrade to Windows Vista
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/926673
Based on the article, it seems that it is by design since the solution is to
use keyboard.
I'd appreciate if you could tell me, the maker of the fingerprint reader
and/or model name, and I can do some study from there.
