Any suggestions (other than upgrading java) for viewing something as simple
as the lake applet with ns 7.1 or mozilla?
Ie 5 has no problems with it, neither does ns 4.78.
I tried an uninstall of the Java(TM) 2 Runtime Environment, Standard
Edition Version 1.4.1, it failed, now I can't get the remnants of that or
java webstart off my computer (I don't even know where they came from)..
A re-format at this time would be disastrous....help?

Granpaw:

Uninstall Java.
Download Mozilla.
Unintall Netscape.
Install the latest version of Java.

You will be much happier!
