Video but no sound

I captured my video from a VCR and transferred it to my hard drive with no
problems. I used MM to do the capturing through my ATI AIW 9600 video card.
I could see and hear the sound while capturing, but when it finished I only
had my video which played perfectly. I am getting no errors. The file was
saved in .wmv format. I don't believe there's anything wrong with my sound
card because I can playback music files with no problem.

Does anyone know what could be the cause of this? I have all updates
installed.

Thanks in advance,
Newtechie

Hello,

You need to take the AUDIO-OUT from you VCR device and connect it to the
LINE-IN socket of your computer. Then tell Movie Maker where to collect the
audio signal from (do that in the setup process prior to recording.
