I'm not entirely sure what VIA is going to stop using of Intel's, from
this article. Are they referring to it's not going to renew its x86
license? I can't see how VIA can possibly get around that one. Or are
they saying that VIA is not going to renew its bus license with Intel?
This one is an interesting possibility, because that means VIA is
giving up all of its chipset business in Intel processors, and also
it's going to stop developing Pentium-M pin-compatible C7 processors.
That simply means nothing short of that VIA now believes that it's not
worth having Intel's bus any longer, something that we've been aware of
for sometime obviously, around here. VIA has obviously got a
Hypertransport license.
