NE1 know why my shuttle xp sytem shows only 32 m/byte of video memory at
start-up and also in DX diag. It is the SN41G2, and spec shows it as having
128 mbyte GF4 VGA onboard, - the main reason I chose it as opposed to other
versions! I am using a 2500 Barton core chip at 333mhz, and a matched pair
of Corsair 2700 LL DDRAM (2 x 256) Cheers..PS TY for advice on previous
posting re: USB / Gameport convertor.

Is this an onboard VGA where you can select the amount of system RAM that is
allocated for video memory in the BIOS?
If so i'd guess that you have 32MB of system RAM allocated as video memory,
and that you could select UP TO 128MB of system RAM as video memory.

Run the DirectX diagnostic utility DXDIAG from the Start button's Run
command.
Just type dxdiag and it'll tell you some info about your video setup.
Look at the Display tab, Device info, Total Memory.

Martin.

Have set shared memory size in bios to 128 ( and tried all other settings
too) but it doesn't change anything....any more ideas folks? PS also....NE1
know how to confirm that the USB is actually USB2.0 rather than regular
1.0. Device manager doesn't actually state USB 2.0

I''d talk to you and tell you why but you're one of theose irritating
****s who thinks that posting everything in SMS speak is OK.
Personally, I feel that someone who writes NE1 instead of "anyone" is
far too stupid to figure out the answer I'd post.
