That run-on sentence is soooooooo hard to read! How about a few caps and
periods? Also 'I've' and 'field'.
Sorry for the corrections but this is all about Communication!

It's kinda hard to make suggestions...why not post the url?

You could make the default selection of the field...."please enter name", "please enter phone number" - if you're using a drop down. Or you can put intructions in next to the field...in conjunction with how you set up your validation rules (ie; restrict entries to numbers, text, etc) you could probably get your viewers to behave :-)

| Very sorry, Doing 5 things at once.Ive created a form with validations for the name and telephone number.
| Only it asks the user (please enter a value for the name feild). Is there a way that it only asks or prompts
| the user PLEASE ENTER A NAME/PLEASE ENTER A PHONE NUMBER

The problem is that the validation script is "written" to the page on the
fly when the page is served. There is no way to modify this using the
standard FrontPage form validation.
