using wmi and security...

I know that i can get Mac Address or Hardware serial number on webpage in
asp.net 2.0?
it's new future in dot net framework 2.0. isn't it?
now! i'm wondering about security..
all users opent this page tell users mac address and hdd serial number to
webmaster? like ip address.
is it fine?
i have to alway use this ...is it always possible ??
could you tell me this?
