I have a Windows 2000 Pro workstation and our servers are running Linux (Red
Hat 9). Every users profile is their first, last name i.e. C:\Documents and
Settings\johnsmith. Every once in a while a user will log on and their
profile will act as if it is a new one. While looking into this I see
C:\Documents and Settings\johnsmith and C:\Documents and
Settings\johnsmith.peach-ohio (where peach-ohio is the domain name of the
server). I have been re-copying the users profile over to the new one that
Windows 2000 just created but I would like to find out why this is happening.
Any insight would be greatly appreciated.
