Is there a way to restrict the applications a user can
run? I'd like to have an app. available for one user,
but not the other. We have multiple accts. here in our
family and I don't want everyone to have access to some
of the apps that I use. Using Windows XP Home version.

There is a way to get extra options regarding which users can access which
folders. As it stands, in XP Home you can only protect your My Documents
folder. The tweak is here:
http://www.dougknox.com/xp/tips/xp_home_sectab.htm

Also, it looks like Mr. Knox has another utility that looks like it might be
easier to use. It's at the top of any of the pages about XP.

Maybe also you could create a My Programs folder in your My Documents
folder, and make the latter private?
