Hello Everyone,
I am realy desperate. I deleted a user profile in Wndows
2000 and I need to recover it. Is there a way to do it? I
sure hope so. I downloaded couple of "unerase" programs
but they do not seem to see it. Thanks a lot for any info.

You will need to restore from backup.
After restoring, the account may or may not use the restored profile
at which point that KB article may help.

Suggest you backup critical files in the future. If you do not
backup regularly then the data is not "critical".
