We are using Windows 2000 Pro with SP4 in a Windows 2003 domain. When a user
logon to his local machine, their backgroud appears and the system appears
to lock up. Another user can logon on the the same system and everything
work as it should. That first user can go to another computer and logon and
connect to the netwrok.
We are not using roaming profiles. This has happen to three different
systems and another one today.
We notice that under Document&Setting, their profiles is over two GB in
size.
Is it possibel that a file is corrupted that would cause this problem.
To resolve it we copy the user profile to another location and then delete
the original. When the user logon, everything is come up fine.
What is causing this problem and how can it be resolve?
Thanks,
Bernard
