      9th Sep 2006
I had to reinstall XP, but now I can't access some old data (e.g. my
documents) of previous user accounts under "documents and setting" that had
administrator privilege. Is there any way to around this?

You simply need to take ownership of those folders and files.

MVP Rick Rogers has a good explanation of the step by step process.
