A coworker of mine has Office 2003. He installed it on his home
computer, then bought a laptop. He installed Office on that machine,
which turned out to be defective, so he returned it. He installed
Office on the replacement machine, which was also broken, so he sent
it back.

Now he can't install Office on his final, non-defective laptop. Is
there any way to recover the installs from the laptops he no longer
has?

Thanks,
Joe Parsons

Install on new PC and use phone activation if on line fails
(Ensure any Office Trial together with Activation Assistant is uninstalled
first, and rebooted)

Why not? What happens when he tries?

At most he should need to call in for activation.
