USB Keys - USB Mass Storage

Hi,

I have just bought a Corsair 1gb USB Key. My PC at work is behaving quite
badly at the moment and I can't run any windows updates. When I first
plugged in my USB key, it detected the hardware as described in the manual.
But on the second detection it broke services.exe which said it had to
close down in 25 seconds. I tried a second time with the key but the same
thing happened.

I am using Windows 2000. I friend of mine has also installed one of these
on his work pc successfully. I know that the installation modifies the
regsistry, off the HKLM\SYSTEM\Controlsetnnn and HKLM\SYSTEM
\CurrentControlSet type keys.

Does anyone know what entries I should get my friend to export to a .reg
file? I could then install the software manually (if there are any system
files I could also get them of my friend)

Peter
